Odle Motorsports Press Release
Shenandoah, Virginia
May 4, 2006
With two great performances under their belts, the Odle Team came to
Shenandoah ready to capture a top five finish. The Speedco #46
Ford performed very well in the pre-race workouts, taking the 8th
fastest practice time and qualifying 11th.
Early in the race, L.W. worked his way into the top ten.
Then trouble arouse when another car pushed L.W. into a spin,
forcing him to return to the back of the pack. in the course
of regaining lost ground, the Speedco car was struck again.
This time time the other car struck the right front tire, slicing it
and forcing a pitstop. By the time L.W. was able to reach the
pit on a flat tire, the sway bar had been damaged.
The Odle tem quickly repaired the car and put L.W. back into the
race for him to finish 20th, a more than respectable finish
considering the circumstances. The finish leaves L.W. and the
Speedco #46 Ford in 7th place in points, and leaves the team with
even more motivation for a strong showing at Xenia, Ohio's Kil-Kare
Speedway this Friday.
