Fogleman Looks Forward to Motor Mile
July 9, 2008
Jay
Fogleman is eager to put the Speedco/The Works/Jfco Motorsports Ford
Fusion No. 4 on the track Saturday at Virginia's Motor Mile Speedway
for the Kmart 250 USAR Hooters Pro Cup race.
"I like Motor Mile," said the short track veteran from
Durham, N.C. "The track suits my driving style; I'm comfortable
there. Darin (Odle, crew chief) and the team have been working hard,
and I'm sure we can represent The Works Clean Team well and have a
good run."
Fogleman has reason to be confident heading into the July 12 event;
he's always run well at the track whether in a Late Model or a Pro
Cup car, and he's won two Pro Cup races at Motor Mile, once in 1998
and again in 2003.
Less than 150 points out of the Northern Division lead, Fogleman has
four regular-season races remaining to put the team in a good
position before the Championship Series begins.
"It always makes you feel good and boosts your confidence when
you come to a place you like as much as I like Motor Mile,"
Fogleman said. "We've had a few problems and bugs to work out
this season, but Motor Mile is the perfect place for us to get our
year turned around. I can't wait to get there."
