Fogleman Eyes Jennerstown
July 24, 2008
It's
been years since Jay Fogleman competed at Pennsylvania's Jennerstown
Speedway, but the Durham, N.C., short-track veteran expects to have
a solid run in the Hooters 250 USAR Hooters Pro Cup Northern
Division race on July 26.
"We've run good there in the past," said the driver of the
Speedco/The Works/Mac Tools/JFco Motorsports Ford Fusion No. 4n.
"The track's challenging, to say the least, and it's pretty
flat. But Darin Odle, my crew chief, and the entire team have been
giving me solid racecars lately, and I'm sure we'll have a good run
for The Works Clean Team."
To help prepare for Jennerstown, Fogleman competed in the July 19
Hooters Pro Cup Southern Division Crane Cams 250 at Southern
National Raceway Park in Kenly, N. C., not too far from his home.
"We used the Southern National race as a sort of test
session," said Fogleman, who finished fifth. "We gained a
lot of knowledge that will help us the rest of the year. It's always
nice racing close to home, because a lot of friends and family can
come out and watch. I also enjoy the camaraderie I share with guys
like Bobby Gill and Michael Rich when I get to race against
them."
