Fogleman Scores Top 10 at South Boston

Jay Fogleman continued his consistent streak in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series when he drove the Speedco/The Works/Mac Tools/JFco Motorsports Ford Fusion No. 4 to a seventh-place finish in the Aug. 9 running of the Miller Lite 250 at South Boston (Virginia) Speedway.

Once again the Durham, N.C., short-track veteran's top-10 finish scored The Works Clean Team Award.

"We had a good car," Fogleman said, "but I think we could have had a better finish. Darin (Odle, Fogleman's crew chief) and the team put a good car under me and did their jobs well all weekend."

With only one more race left in the regular season before the Championship Series begins, Fogleman thinks the team is headed in the right direction.

"We keep getting better as we go along," he said. "If we can keep doing what we're doing , we will be contending for the win soon and making a real run at the championship."
